Service Description:

Endangered Species Protection Bulletins are a part of EPA's Endangered Species Protection Program. Bulletins set forth geographically specific pesticide use limitations for the protection of threatened and endangered (listed) species and their designated critical habitat. When referenced on a pesticide label, Bulletins are enforceable use limitations under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). Not following the limitation on your Bulletin is a misuse of the pesticide and enforceable under FIFRA. If this misuse results in “take” of listed species, the action is also enforceable under the Endangered Species Act by the US Fish and Wildlife Service and National Marines Fisheries Service. The pesticide use limitations found in Bulletins Live! Two (https://www.epa.gov/endangered-species/bulletins-live-two-view-bulletins) are part of EPA's federal program to protect listed species. Your state may have pesticide use limitations beyond those found in your Bulletins Live! Two.

If limitations on pesticide use are necessary to protect listed species in an area, that information is relayed through a Pesticide Use Limitation Area (PULA). A PULA consists of the following: Spatial data, Product/Application/Formulation information, and Limitation/ Mitigation language. This map service contains the spatial data and limitation data. The spatial data is contained in this map service as a feature layer, and the limitation code, text as well as the Product/Application/Formulation information is contained in a table. This resource does not produce a bulletin for reference purposes or to comply with label directions. This map service is intended to be informational and for research purposes, not to replace or provide an alternative to accessing Bulletins on the EPA's Bulletins Live! Two system for label compliance.
